Beth Pictor, MA, LMHC
Beth creates a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment for individuals, couples, and families to address their hurt. She partners with her clients to explore their questions, concerns, and pain and to develop a plan to enhance well-being. Beth is trained to address interpersonal concerns, family conflict, relationship issues, as well as mental health disorders such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She also works through issues related to grief, loss, betrayal, and deception.
Beth approaches therapy using Client-Centered Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Sand Tray Therapy.
Beth works especially well with clients who experience unwanted same-sex attraction, homosexual orientation, and gender dysphoria. Clients who experience confusion regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity can feel they have a safe space to connect and to process their feelings.
Beth has experience assisting parents of children/adult children with same-sex attraction, homosexual orientation, or identify as transgender with loving their children as they navigate challenging relationships.
Beth has been married to her husband for over 25 years and they have two adult children.
