Leah Dearduff, MA, LMHCA
Leah is passionate about walking alongside individuals on their journeys of growth and healing. She uses a client-centered approach to therapy, honoring each client’s individuality and autonomy; clients are invited to collaborate with the development goals and skills. Specific interventions may include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Narrative work, and Mindfulness.
She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate social issues, family dynamics, self-discovery, and mental and emotional well-being. Her priority is to create an environment for clients that models connection and compassion, which they can extend to themselves and others. In addition to addressing clients’ presenting symptoms, she guides them toward understanding their deeper selves. Clients are empowered to find healing through self-acceptance and connection with others. Leah also offers faith-based counseling to those interested in a distinctly Christian perspective.
