Hayden Black, MA
Hayden has growing experience working in a school setting with children, as well as in a clinical setting with adolescents, teens, and adults. He has helped clients work through a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, and ADHD. Hayden strives to help clients overcome adversity and challenges they are faced with, building on and discovering new strengths.
As a counselor, Hayden is very client-centered and strives to create a trusting and non-judgmental environment during each session. He works from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. While Hayden enjoys working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and belief systems, he is able to provide counseling from a Christian perspective if desired.
In his spare time, Hayden enjoys being outside camping, in the garden, playing and watching sports, or spending time with family and friends.
Hayden received his Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University.
